    I’ve heard many people saying that Daylio app is a good app for tracking moods so I decided to test it.

    Using it for the first time, you will be prompted to select some of the goals that you would like to keep track of. For me, I selected mood, sleep, and exercise. From there, you will then be able to explore the different app features and sections (e.g. entries, stats, calendar and more).

    My first impression of this app is that it is straightforward to use. If i wanted to log my mood, all I have to do is to create an entry. Under statistics, you get to view your mood chart once you’ve logged your emotions enough times, achievements, goals, and mood stability. All of which are interesting features.

    However, you’ll only be able to view your monthly statistics unless you subscribe to a premium version, which comes with yearly statistics, unlimited moods, goals, and reminders. If you looking for a simple app to use, this could be a great option.

    For me, what I liked most is that you can customize the themes and icons to make journalling a fun experience! You can choose between popular themes, special themes, light or dark modes, or set themes by spending clover points, easily obtained through ads or subscriptions.

    Aside from regular features that other apps would have, it is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. The only downside is that you’d have to pay for a premium version if you want to receive a more in-depth analysis of your daily life, sync across multiple devices, and record and edit without any ads.

    Else, I thoroughly enjoy using this!

    I think what is good about this app is that you can customize the mood that you are feeling and share journal entries. Overall the app gives off a cute and minimalistic vibe which is great for people who look more at visuals rather than text.

    However, a huge con in my opinion is that it the app is not properly optimized. I found it quite confusing and frustrating at times when some of the descriptions did not make sense or there were random Mandarin words along with English. There is also no way to change the language in the setting.

    If this issue was fixed by the developer, I reckon that I would enjoy it a lot more. However, it is still an app worth trying considering its low cost and design.

    However, with the free version, the features are very limited. For example, I could only log one mood a day and look at daily insights or quotes. I didn’t have access to any statistics or article resources unless I paid for it.
